We start this list of games with one that allow the participants to dive into the mermaid party role for the party and develop a characterization. With this material we will create several communication lines for sending underwater messages, for this we cross a plastic cup bottom with the rope and tie the rope between two points, e.g. Two walls, two chairs, one fence, a pole … We will create as many tracks for sending underwater messages as participants we want to play simultaneously. All message delivery tracks should be about the same length.

This game is very cool and creative. To playthis game you have to prepare in advance some under the sea colored ice cubes. Just poor water and tempera in a ice bucket and freeze it. When the ice is made, we will use a continuous paper roll and paint with the colored ice. We will have a completely frozen picture!
Tortoise egg rescue
Let’s continue our mermaid party games list with emulating the geenpeace recue teams. In this game we will place 5 glasses full of water to the top, formed in a line edge to edge. The tide has dragged turtle eggs into the sea (ping-pong or poliespan balls) and our mermaid-mission is to return them to the beach from the first glass to the last, blowing through a straw. We can approach it as a competitive game (who takes more turtle eggs to the beach in a minute) or collaborative (how many we can save in 3 minutes).
Ocean pinata
Bored of classic piñatas? Here we want to propose one of the most refreshing. For this, we will need candies with wrapping and small toys that we can put in a large balloon. We will need enough balloons, some that contain surprise and water and the rest that only have water. We will put them all on a rope like when we have clothes and to get the surprise, we will have to get wet! We must puncture the balloons to get their content.
Sliding table
For this game we will need a fat plastic (such as a pool of water) and quite long. We will put it on the floor with a little soap and water and it will become a very sliding board. Certainly we will fall on our asses, so conder doing it on grass or sand, but it is very fun!

Capture the pirate flag.
This game is a vriation of the classic capture the flag, but within the water…
Pick a pirate captain and then divide the group into two teams. Line up into the water about 20 feet across from each other and spread out about three to four feet apart. The flag is placed in the center of the play area. You may use the mermaid names (e.g. the names provided in which is your mermaid) or number to simplfy the game. The pirate captain will start the game by calling out one set like number one.
From both teams a player will come out and try to steal the pirate flag without being tagged. The first one to grab the flag and get back across his/her line without being tagged by the other player earns a point. If you are tagged while stealing the other team receives the point.
Mermaid soccer
Do you know waterpolo? Try it using you feet. Exactly, this is a technical game only valid for well traine mermaids and mermen. Divide the team into two group choose a ligth plastic ball or similar and stablish a two period match of 5min each.
The target is to send the ball to the goal only using the you feets.

Another remake of a classic game is this Neptune says. We need three or more players. One player takes the role of “Neptune” and issues instructions. e.g.: Move you tail, move your lef/right fin, turn on your fin… to the other players, which should be followed only when prefaced with the phrase “Neptune says”. Players are eliminated from the game by either following instructions that are not immediately preceded by the phrase, or by failing to follow an instruction which does include the phrase passcode.

For this game, we would only need some balloons and want to have a great time. What we have to do is fill them with water and pass it among the children, preventing it from falling to the ground. The moment it breaks, we will get wet and be super cool. To add difficulty to the game you can enter two or more balloons in the circle.
